Rhos Male Voice Choir - In Concert

Guest Singer: Amy Tennant

Saturday 25th October 2008

The evening concert at St. Dunawd's Church Bangor-on-Dee in aid of the Church Organ Fund was spectacular success. It is hard to believe but the concert raised £3000 for the fund, which exceeded all our expectations.

We would like to thank everyone who helped with the organisation, all our friends who supported the event and most of all the Rhos Male Voice Choir and Amy Tennant, who all gave their time to provide us with a wonderful concert that everyone thoroughly enjoyed.

END THE PLASTIC POISON!

In the Budget this week, supermarkets were told to end the 'plastic poison' caused by throwaway bags, or face laws that would force them to act and encourage a switch to green alternatives.

Traditionally, baskets have been used for shopping and are versatile for other jobs in the home or in the car etc and we do think they could appeal to our green conscious customers as a desirable alternative to the new eco-friendly bags.

We have a wide range of baskets for all sorts of purposes and a visit to our showrooms might give you other ideas for ways to help the planet by using natural, recyclable products.
